Suspicious Incident Database System

Following the 2001 terrorist attacks, the NRC implemented the Suspicious Incident Database System (SIDs) to collect information regarding potential malevolent acts involving nuclear materials. The system enables trending, analysis, and sharing of information with appropriate government and law enforcement agencies. This presentation will discuss the ways in which agreement states play a vital role in the effective implementation of this system.
